One person was hospitalized with burns after a fire broke out early Friday in a single-family home in Wilmington, Fire Lieutenant John Brown said. Information about the severity of the person’s injuries was not immediately available. Firefighters responded to 50 Middlesex Ave. at 3:09 a.m. and had cleared the scene by 4:39 a.m., Brown said. Investigators have not yet determined the cause of the blaze, he said. The 2½-story, wood-frame home appeared to be salvageable after the fire, Brown said.
