Girl held, woman sought in MBTA bleach attack

Two more females sought

Transit Police arrested a girl and secured an arrest warrant for a 22-year-old woman who allegedly threw bleach in a man’s face on a MBTA bus and then robbed him.

Transit Police have identified the girl only as a Boston resident. The woman was identified as Lai Lawnnie Douglas, 22, of Boston.

Douglas faces charges of unarmed robbery, assault and battery, and mayhem, Transit Police said.

The victim of the attack is still having trouble seeing in one of his eyes, MBTA spokesman Richard Sullivan said.

After the attack early Sunday, Transit Police circulated photographs of Douglas, the girl, and a third woman allegedly involved in the assault and robbery on a Route 28 bus on Blue Hill Avenue in Dorchester.

Transit Police are asking the public to help identify the third woman.
