Worcester detectives are investigating an apparent murder-suicide in a house on Lamar Avenue, where they found a 47-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds late Friday night, police said. Police arrived at the home at 11:35 p.m. Friday after a friend of the female resident reported she was worried because she had not heard from the woman in several days. Police found the house’s side door unlocked and entered. Inside, they found the bodies of the man and woman, who had been in a romantic relationship for some time, according the Worcester Police Department.
