ATTLEBORO — Ernest Wallace, facing charges related to the death of a Dorchester man whose killing has been linked to a former New England Patriots star, pleaded not guilty Monday to being an accessory after the fact of murder.
During the highly anticipated arraignment, Bristol prosecutors asked that paperwork involving Wallace be impounded, a request prosecutors have also made for court papers detailing former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez’s alleged role in the killing of Odin L. Lloyd.
The judge ordered that Wallace be held without bail and that documents pertaining to him be impounded.
Lloyd’s aunt, on her way to a vehicle parked in front of the courthouse, declined to comment, saying only, “We’ll wait until this is all over.”
Hernandez, 23, has pleaded not guilty to murder and firearms charges and is being held without bail in Bristol County Jail.
