Man’s body found on embankment in Hyde Park

The body of a man was found on the embankment of a stream in Hyde Park Monday night, State Police said. At 7:20 p.m., Boston police notified State Police of the discovery by a passerby in a wooded area off Truman Highway and Glenwood Avenue, State Police spokesman David Procopio said. Authorities are investigating whether the man was from a nearby area frequented by homeless people. State Police have not determined if there are signs of violence, Procopio said. No further information was immediately available.
