Family cheered by medical report on Heinz Kerry

Physicians at Massachusetts General Hospital have determined that seizure-like symptoms suffered by Teresa Heinz Kerry were not caused by a heart attack, stroke, or brain tumor, according to a statement released Tuesday by the office of Secretary of State John F. Kerry.

Heinz Kerry, a leading philanthropist and wife of the former Massachusetts senator, remains in fair condition at Mass. General, the statement from Kerry spokesman Glen Johnson said. She “continues to improve,” Johnson said.
