A Vermont man has been accused of putting firecrackers inside a gas grill that belonged to his former landlord. Police said that the firecrackers went off in another man’s face when the grill was lit, but that he was not injured. Police said Matthew Parant, 29, of South Londonderry, admitted to putting the firecrackers inside the grill, which belonged to Eric Eklof of Spofford, N.H. Trooper Brian Berry said Parant ‘‘did not get along’’ with Eklof and did not remove the firecrackers before moving out. The firecrackers went off when the current tenant went to light the grill. Parant was charged with reckless endangerment and other offenses on Friday.
