Pedestrian struck, killed by car in Hartford

Hartford police are investigating an accident that killed a pedestrian. Authorities said the person was struck by a car on New Britain Avenue near the West Hartford line Tuesday night. The victim was later pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital. Police have not released the names of the pedestrian and driver. Authorities said the driver pulled over after the accident and is cooperating with investigators. No charges have been filed.
