BROCKTON

An 18-month-old boy was pronounced dead in Brockton Thursday morning, according to Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz’s office. Emergency medical personnel received a call around 8:39 a.m. for a child not breathing and rushed the infant to a local hospital, where he died shortly afterward, Cruz’s office said. It appears that no foul play was involved, but the cause of death has not yet been determined, said Cruz’s office. No further information was available, and the death is under investigation.
