New Hampshire State Police say a man died after being pulled from the Saco River in Conway on Saturday. Three people had jumped more than 30 feet from a railroad trestle into the river to swim on Saturday afternoon and one of them did not resurface, police said. About 15 minutes later, a man in his 30s was recovered from the water and CPR was performed on him. Police said the man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim’s name was being withheld until relatives are notified. (AP)
