Man, 27, dies in construction accident in Plymouth

A 27-year-old construction worker was fatally injured while working at a construction site in Plymouth today, police said.

At 9 a.m., police responded to a call for the injured man at 33 Landmark Drive, near the Pine Hills village, said Plymouth Police Captain John Rogers.

The victim’s name, the name of the company he worked for, and the cause of his death are not being released, Rogers said.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration responded to the call at 9:30 a.m. and inspected the scene, said OSHA spokesman Ted Fitzgerald.

OSHA and local and State Police are still investigating the incident, Rogers said.
