A Brockton man is being arraigned today in connection with a May stabbing that killed one teenager and injured another, authorities said.

Quiles is also charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, armed home invasion, and armed robbery, the statement said.

Two Brockton teenagers have already been arrested in connection to this crime. Eric Claudio, 18, and Vladimir Verdieu, 17, both of Brockton, pleaded not guilty to the same charges as Quiles. They are set to have a pretrial conference in Brockton Superior Court today, the statement said.

At about 3:50 a.m. on May 4, Brockton Police responded to a call of a home invasion on Summer Street. Upon arrival, the officers found Semedo suffering from stab wounds to his front, side, and back. Jonathon Alves, 18, of Brockton, was also in the house, suffering from a minor laceration to his neck, the statement said.

The two were transported to a local hospital where Alves released and Semedo was pronounced dead, the statement said.
