Consultants are spending several days in Sanford to study the feasibility of building a year-round theme park in the southern Maine city. WMTW-TV reported that Sanford resident Allen Mapes and tourism specialist Bill Underwood raised $35,000 to bring the two consultants to Sanford this week.
