Museum prepares for rare-car auction

The Owls Head Transportation Museum is gearing up for its annual auction of rare cars and trucks on Saturday. From Monday through Friday, buyers can get a preview of the 36th Annual New England Auto Auction, which will sell nearly 200 vehicles. Among the cars for sale are a 1960 Jaguar XK150 Drophead Coupe, a 1930 Ford A Roadster Pickup, a 1955 Ford Crown Victoria, a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet, and a 1973 Triumph Hurricane motorcycle.
