A teenager has been killed in western Maine after becoming entangled in some rope while riding a small dirt motorcycle. Wardens were called to Carthage around 8 p.m. Sunday following the dirt bike accident involving a 15-year-old boy from Carthage. The Maine Warden Service said the boy was carrying a coil of rope that became entangled in the rear wheel; he then became entangled in the rope as well, leading to his death. The case is under investigation. The boy’s name has not been released.
