Davis helps Mideast police counterparts

Boston Police Commissioner Edward F. Davis participated in talks with high-level Palestinian and Israeli police officials in the West Bank this week, part of an 18-month effort to increase cooperation between local police agencies in the region.

Davis presented an overview of the police response to the Boston Marathon bombings, noting that cooperation between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
