Hernandez’s cousin arraigned on contempt of court charge

FALL RIVER — Jailed since Aug. 1 after refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating the Odin Lloyd homicide, Aaron Hernandez’s cousin Tanya Singleton will serve at least five more weeks behind bars.

Singleton, 37, of Bristol, Conn., the fourth person to be charged and jailed in connection with the investigation, was arraigned Friday in Bristol Superior Court on a criminal contempt charge after refusing to testify before the grand jury investigating the June slaying.
