Peabody police say shoplifter stole $100,000 in goods

Peabody police circulated this photo of a possible suspect in thefts at various area shopping malls.

Peabody police are looking for a woman who may have been involved in multiple shoplifting thefts at area malls. In all, more than $100,000 worth of merchandise was stolen, authorities said.

The thefts have occurred in at least three jurisdictions in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Peabody police said.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call Peabody police at 978-538-6324.
