Ethics Commission dismisses complaint against Cheryl Jacques, administrative law judge and former state senator

The State Ethics Commission has dismissed allegations that Cheryl Jacques, a former state senator who is now an administrative law judge, used her official position to try to gain an advantage in dealing with her brother-in-law’s dental office.

The commission said in a decision issued today that it was “confronted with two competing versions of what occurred” and that it had “no basis for determining” which was more credible.
