Director of Port of Boston is named

Massachusetts Port Authority chief executive Thomas Glynn named Deborah Hadden to oversee operations at the agency’s non-aviation properties on Thursday. Hadden will be responsible for directing the planning, development, marketing, operation, security, financial management, administration, and maintenance of the Port of Boston. Hadden had been acting director since last October. During that time she implemented productivity gains at Conley Terminal, as part of successful negotiations with the International Longshoreman’s Association in a local contract. She also led successful negotiations with MSC, Conley’s busiest steamship line, and secured a new six-year agreement with Cosco.
