A man who was shot Saturday night on Blue Hill Avenue in Boston has died, according to a Boston police statement. Officers in Roxbury responded to a radio call after reports of a person shot at 9:43 p.m. and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound at 504 Blue Hill Ave. He was taken to Boston Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Police released no other details Sunday. Detectives entered and exited at least one apartment building near the shooting scene Sunday night. Residents said people who knew the victim had gathered there earlier to mourn. Neighbors said they heard gunshots Saturday night but knew little else. Homicide detectives asked anyone with information to call at 617-343-4470.
