Chelsea man, 61, facing 4th OUI offense

A 61-year-old man pleaded not guilty to a fourth offense of operating under the influence and is being held on $1,000 bail after driving his car into a cement pillar on Revere Beach Boulevard last weekend, officials said.

Henry Mazac of Chelsea was arraigned Monday in Chelsea District Court on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol as a fourth offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a marked lanes violation, Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s office said in a statement.
