A University of New Hampshire student said she was assaulted by two men who tried to take her wallet, police said. The woman was near Rudman Hall on Academic Way at about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday when the men grabbed her, police said. They said she fought off the attackers, striking one in the face. University police officers and campus service officers increased patrols of the area and offered to provide safety escorts.
