N.H. man charged with shooting pellet gun at buses

A New Hampshire man is accused of shooting a pellet gun at two school buses with children on board. Police arrested Tarance Piper, 24, of Sanbornton Thursday. They said he told them one of the students on the bus made an obscene gesture toward him. Piper was in the back seat of a car next to the bus. WMUR-TV reported that pellets dented the sides of the buses, but did not break windows or cause injuries. The bus drivers radioed for help, and one of them pulled into the police station as the shootings occurred. Piper was charged with two counts of criminal threatening.
