Transit Police charge man with assault on T worker

A Malden man was arrested Friday in an assault on a 69-year-old MBTA employee on Sept. 20, Transit Police said. Mohammad Noor, 27, is accused of punching the worker in the face with a closed fist and then kicking him in the head after he had been knocked down, Transit Police said. The worker had asked Noor and another man to leave the lobby of Roxbury Crossing station because the two were arguing loudly, the statement said. Noor evaded police pursuit following the alleged assault, but was arrested Friday morning at Ruggles Station in Roxbury, the MBTA said.
