Suspect arrested in Hampton, N.H., slaying

A 70-year-old Hampton, N.H., man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the killing of a man in his home, officials said Monday. Peter Bartoloni is to be arraigned Tuesday in Seabrook District Court in the slaying of Robert Roderick, 56, also of Hampton, Attorney General Joseph A. Foster’s office said. Roderick was found dead in his home at about 12:30 a.m. Friday. The cause of death was multiple blunt impact injuries to the head, the office said.
