Parishes to celebrate priests

Catholic parishes in New Hampshire plan to show support for their priests next weekend, which has been designated a celebration of the priesthood. Participants are asked to develop their own way of marking the day and honoring the priesthood and their own priests. Over the past few years parishes have shown their appreciation by hosting receptions after Mass, placing an ad in the local newspaper honoring their priest, or presenting their priest with personalized notes. The event is organized by parish lay leaders and coordinated by the USA Council of Serra International.
