The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services is conducting free blood tests on children and their toys as it recognizes National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. The goal is to increase awareness of childhood lead poisoning. The free tests are being offered on Monday at the State House lawn from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On Wednesday, there will be a showing of ‘‘MisLEAD: America’s Secret Epidemic,’’ a documentary on lead poisoning, at the Red River Theatre in Concord. Local and national specialists on lead will participate in a panel discussion afterward.
