Councilor Ayanna Pressley to remain neutral in mayor’s race

While lawmakers and clergy in Boston’s black and Latino communities are lining up to endorse one of the two candidates for mayor, one popular city politician has been keeping a low profile in the contest.

City Councilor At Large Ayanna Pressley, who teamed with John Connolly in her last council bid two years ago, told the Globe that she is staying neutral in this year’s bid to replace Mayor Thomas M. Menino.
