Massachusetts State Police served Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Mike Pouncey with a grand jury subpoena at Gillette Stadium shortly after the Dolphins-Patriots game Sunday, according to a report by Sports Illustrated.

The subpoena, served outside of the Dolphins’ locker room, was related to an investigation into former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s alleged involvement in interstate gun trafficking, according to the SI report.

The extent of Pouncey’s alleged involvement is unclear, but police are focused on several transactions between him and Hernandez, the report said. Pouncey and Hernandez, who was charged with the murder of a Dorchester man in North Attleborough earlier this year, were teammates at the University of Florida.

When contacted late Sunday night, spokesmen for both the Dolphins and the Bristol County district attorney’s office declined to comment.
