Police charge unclothed man with burglary

PUTNEY, Vt. — Vermont police have filed charges against a man who was found unclothed in another person’s house. State Police were dispatched to a house in Putney at about 12:05 a.m. Sunday after receiving an alarm, and they found signs of forced entry to a glass door leading inside. Police then found a man who wasn’t wearing clothes sitting on top of a bathroom sink in an apparent attempt to hide. In a release, authorities said the man was bleeding from numerous cuts over his body. Police charged Marshall Dean, 52, of Putney, with burglary and unlawful mischief. He was being held on $10,000 bail. Dean is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, but it was not known if he has a lawyer.
