Mayor-elect to also hold series of town hall meetings

Boston mayor-elect Martin J. Walsh today announced the six co-chairs of his transition team and said he would hold a series of town meetings to listen to people’s concerns as he prepares to take office in January.

Walsh said the co-chairs would be: City Councilor Felix Arroyo; and Sam Tyler, long-time president of the Boston Municipal Research bureau, a city budget watchdog group; former mayoral candidates John F. Barros and Charlotte Golar Richie; public relations executive Joyce Linehan; and Katherine P. Craven, executive director of the University of Massachusetts Building Authority.
