Rhode Island’s attorney general and the Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket have launched a winter clothing drive for the needy. Attorney General Peter Kilmartin and the group said Tuesday they are taking donations for the annual Warm Hearts, Coats & Stuff drive. Items being accepted include slightly worn winter coats, scarves, hats, and gloves for children and adults. Donations can be dropped off at the attorney general’s office in Providence on South Main Street through Nov. 25. Kilmartin said the clothing drive is a way for people to clean out their closets and make sure everyone has the winter items they need.
