Conn. State Police to step up Thanksgiving patrols

Connecticut State Police plan additional enforcement efforts over Thanksgiving. The day before and Thanksgiving itself are the busiest traffic days of the year in Connecticut. State Police said there will be more troopers on the road than usual, and they will be focused on drunken drivers, and aggressive and unsafe drivers. Police are asking drivers to slow down, stay off their cellphones, and not drive if they are drinking. Motorists should call 911 if they see someone who seems to be driving drunk.
