Two cars collided near the intersection of Harvard and Morton streets in Dorchester on Saturday, sending one careening into a triple-decker home, State Police said.
A 2006 Dodge Caravan driven by a 78-year-old Dorchester woman and a 1996 Toyota Camry driven by a 47-year-old woman from Mattapan struck each another around 2:25 p.m., said Trooper Reid Bagley, a State Police spokesman. The minivan then slammed into the nearby home, crushing the front of the van.
The Dodge driver was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the Toyota’s driver to Boston Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, Bagley said. No other injuries were reported.
State Police are investigating the crash and had not made any arrests Saturday evening, Bagley said.
