Boston firefighters used an aerial ladder to hoist a man this morning from a Dorchester rooftop, where he had been injured, fire officials said.
Technical teams rescued the man using Tower Ladder 10 from the roof of 28 Bishop Joe L. Smith Way, fire officials said.
The man became injured around 11:30 a.m. He was strapped into a Stokes basket, a type of stretcher, which was placed atop the ladder and lowered down, fire officials said.
The man was treated and transported to the hospital, fire officials said.
