Police seek Quincy man, 73, who went missing

A 73-year-old Quincy man has been reported missing since Wednesday, police said.

Ying Xiang Shang of 73 Bicknell St. went missing at 12:30 p.m. and was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket, sweatpants, and sneakers, and carrying a black backpack.

Shang does not speak English and is believed to have Alzheimer’s disease. He frequents Boston’s Chinatown and Quincy Center, and recently received care at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, police said.
