Police seek man who assaulted woman on Green Line train

MBTA Transit Police are seeking the identity of a man who allegedly assaulted a woman on a Green Line train between the Government Center and Park Street stations, officials said.

The passenger reported being indecently assaulted at approximately 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, Transit Police said in a statement.

Transit Police described the suspect as a white male between 40 and 50 years old, wearing a red hat and jacket, blue jeans, and dark gloves.

Transit Police detectives urged urged anyone with information to call 617-222-1050. They can also text tips to 873873 or use the anonymous tip feature on the SeeSay app.
