State Police activated an Amber Alert for a missing 6-year-old Fitchburg girl on Friday evening. Alize Whipple was last seen on Wednesday at about 4 p.m. on Normandy Road, according to police.

Alize is described as black with dark hair, about 3 feet 9 inches tall, and weighing 45 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink top, pink pants, and pink sparkly shoes, police said.

Police believe Alize was abducted by her non-custodial mother, Leeanna Wilson, 50, who may cause her harm.

Wilson is white with strawberry blonde hair, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds, and is believed to be driving a blue 1996 Buick Century with a South Carolina license plate JJT687.
