Maine man arrested with two firearms at South Station

A Maine man faces arraignment today in Boston Municipal Court after Transit Police allegedly found him carrying two stolen guns, officials said.

Christopher Loucks, 28, was arrested Tuesday night by Transit Police at MBTA’s South Station bus terminal. He faces two counts of possession of a firearm without a license and knowingly receiving stolen property, Transit Police said today in a statement.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department in Maine notified Transit Police at about 6:30 p.m. that Loucks was possibly en route to South Station to board a bus to New York City, Transit Police said.

Using a description of the suspect, Transit Police located Loucks in the food court area of the terminal and disarmed him of two guns, a Ruger 9mm and a Taurus .22 caliber, and a magazine containing 15 rounds of 9mm ammunition, Transit Police said.
