Driver cited in fiery fuel tanker crash in Fall River

The driver of a fuel tanker that crashed and burst into flames in Fall River, snarling traffic for most of Monday, has been cited for driving violations, State Police said Thursday.

Lisa M. Korch, 46, of Danielson, Conn., was cited for speeding and a marked lane violation.

At 7:15 a.m. Monday, State Police responded to the tractor-trailer rollover on the Route 24 northbound offramp to President Avenue. Troopers found the truck on its side and engulfed in flames, State Police said.
