Another winter storm to hit region on Thursday

A winter storm will lash the region Thursday and Thursday night, dumping heavy, wet snow in the interior and snow changing to rain along the coast, while whipping up strong winds, the National Weather Service said.

The forecasters said it’s still uncertain how much snow will fall where. But it looks like the line where snow will change over to rain could be between Route 128 and Interstate 495. Inland from there, where the cold will remain entrenched, the foreccasters said, there could be “good snow growth.”
