Alcohol might have been a factor in a snowmobile crash on Sunday that severely injured a Lancaster man, New Hampshire authorities said. Michael Vashaw, 40, was riding alone around 10:30 a.m. Sunday when he failed to make it around a turn and fell off his machine, New Hampshire Fish and Game officials said. Vashaw was taken to Weeks Medical Center and then Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon for severe but not life-threatening injuries.
