N.H. power outage affects 5,000 customers

Thousands of Liberty Utilities customers were without power in Pelham, N.H., Monday morning, police said.

The outage started at about 10:30 a.m. and is affecting about 5,000 customers, Pelham police said.

Company officials said they are unsure what caused the outage, but they will investigate and work to have power back as soon as possible.

“We are not aware of a cause for the outage or how long it will be before it is restored,” wrote officials in a statement released this morning.
