The Bristol County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to file a criminal charge against Aaron Hernandez over a recent altercation with another inmate.

The Bristol County sheriff’s office is seeking to file a criminal charge against former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez following a recent altercation that he had with another inmate at the jail where he is being held. Gregg Miliote, a spokesman for the Bristol district attorney’s office, said Thursday that prosecutors had been informed that sheriff’s officials had filed an application for a criminal complaint stemming from the incident at the Bristol County House of Correction and Jail. It was not clear what charge officials are seeking to bring against Hernandez.
