Crash on I-93 near Neponset Bridge causes traffic delays

Travelers on Interstate 93 should expect delays following a two-car crash on the Neponset Bridge in Dorchester, officials said.

State Police are diverting traffic for all northbound I-93 lanes at exit 11, State Police spokesman Lieutenant Daniel Richards said. The crash left four people injured just before noon. All four are being transported to the hospital for evaluation, according to a tweet from the Boston Fire Department.

The crash left one car on its roof and the other on its side, according to a tweet from Boston fire.

The Boston Fire Department, Boston Police, Milton Police, and State Police responded to the scene, Richards said.

No further information was immediately available.
