State Police say diaper bag filled with cocaine

A Springfield woman is facing a drug charge after State Police discovered a diaper bag filled with cocaine in her glove compartment during a traffic stop Monday night, police said. Saraida Quinones, 31, was scheduled to be arraigned in Springfield District Court on six charges that include possession of cocaine, driving with a suspended license, and driving with stolen license plates, State Police said Tuesday in a statement. Police said Quinones was stopped by troopers for motor vehicle violations at about 7:30 p.m. Monday. She was arrested after a search uncovered a diaper bag filled with a “white powdery substance” believed to be cocaine, the statement said.
