One of the Vermonters cited for animal cruelty after more than a dozen dead deer were found at a holiday-themed park is now facing charges of stealing several antique items. The Brattleboro Reformer reported Brian Deistler, 24, was cited for grand larceny. Some items were recovered from him but several items remain missing. These new charges came days after 16 deer carcasses, a dead pot-bellied pig, and a dead pheasant were found at Santa’s Land, where Deistler is caretaker. He and the owner, Lillian Billewicz, 55, are scheduled to appear in court. (AP)
