The truck crashed into the woods just off the ramp from Route 20 to Route 128 southbound.

A tractor-trailer crash snarled rush hour traffic this morning on Route 128 in Waltham, officials said.

The truck crashed into the woods just off the ramp from Route 20 to Route 128 southbound, State Police said on their official Twitter account.

State Police posted a photo showing the cab of the truck came to rest in a stream running nearby.

No injuries were reported.

But State Police closed Exit 26 to allow for the removal of the vehicle.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
