A middle school teacher who was struck by a vehicle outside her school two weeks ago has died. Dawn Mallory’s family announced Friday the death of the seventh-grade teacher. Mallory, 65, of Groton, was a math teacher who taught for more than 30 years. She was critically injured on March 14 after being struck in the RHAM Middle School parking lot in Hebron by a parent who was dropping off children and backed into her. Authorities said Elizabeth Everett of Hebron was driving her sport utility vehicle through the parking lot when she mistakenly entered a bus loading and unloading zone. The crash has remained under investigation. No charges have been filed.
